Fast Trike's intuitive message creation system allows you to build a message from a variety of methods, including pulling from an existing Web page or from your own template design, uploading an HTML or XML file, or building the HTML right in the system. Scheduling your messages can also be done immediately or set for a later date and time.

Message creation and management features include:

Template Creation – When you begin working with Fast Trike, we create two custom email marketing templates for you. One is newsletter template and the other a email "postcard" for quick promotion or news blasts.

Workflow Task Management – The Workflow Task Management system enables email marketers to set up a workflow process and minimize mistakes, miscommunications and common errors. For example, a certain task can be designated as “Required”, and if the task is not completed the message cannot be sent. This feature is extremely useful for setting reminders for tasks that are often forgotten, such as setting up segmentation filters or finalizing the Text version. Client users can also post notes with time/date stamps for other users, assign them to specific messages, and create and edit tasks in line with an organization’s business processes.  

HTML, AOL and Text Autosensing – Fast Trike's system automatically sends out multi-part emails, which include HTML, AOL and plain text versions. No matter which email program your customer is using, your message will be delivered and viewed the way you intend it.   

Content Library – The Content Library contains a Directory System, which helps users organize creative elements such as copy, images and templates, thereby supporting easy creation of complex personalized email campaigns and dynamic content. Subfolders can be created to better organize data, images, templates and more; and email enhancers can be saved to the Content Library and reused for future messages.   

AOL Subscriber Settings – While the majority of AOL subscribers have upgraded to AOL software versions (AOL 6.0+) that can read HTML emails, various industry studies and experience suggest that many AOL subscribers respond better to text emails. With the check of a box, Fast Trike enables you to send AOL subscribers a plain text message, while distributing a multipart (HTML and Text) message to the rest of your list.  

Spam Content Checker – Getting trapped in ISP, corporate or recipient-level spam filters is an increasing challenge for newsletter publishers. Fast Trike has added a spam content checker that enables you to test a message prior to distribution. Our spam content checks for content that might be filtered by the Outlook default Junk filter and popular filters used by the major ISPs.  

Proof List/Test System – The proof list feature enables you to select (or add) members of your mailing list that will receive any proof (or test) messages that you send out. Select Proof Test and the message will be delivered to your users with the word "Proof:" at the beginning of the Subject line.   

Welcome Message – The welcome message sends an email to your subscribers as soon as they opt in. You can create a Text or HTML message, and personalize it based upon the new subscriber's name and profile.   

Template System – Fast Trike stores your HTML template in the system that then enables you to easily edit and drop in new content. You simply create "editable regions" within your template and enter your new text into the editable fields.   

A/B Split or Random Group Testing – Want to test different subject lines, creative, time of day distribution or other variables? Fast Trike makes it simple with our Distribution Groups capability. You can split your mailing list by percentage or by a set number of users in each group, and our system randomly selects members of your mailing list and filters them into separate groups.  

Automatic Footer Message – The automatic footer allows you to append a standard message, such as unsubscribe, manage profile and change email address directions to all of your messages.   

Automatic Unsubscribe Message – When a reader unsubscribes from your mailing list via email, a customizable confirmation message is automatically sent to them. 

CAN-SPAM Compliance Features - The CAN-SPAM Act, passed in December of 2003, requires that email marketers take a number of steps to ensure compliance. Fast Trike offers a number of  features to ensure that our clients meet and surpass the requirements of the CAN-SPAM Act.
